Where is the service level

Ever calling a help desk asking for help in Malaysia? Can be Tmnet,
Tenaga and etc, any company that publish their service desk or help desk
hotline number?

How frustrating is it to be waiting for someone to pick up or being pass
from one to another and repeating ourself on the problem that prompt us
to call.

I think for Malaysia to improve ourself, to be a better Malaysia,
government department need to setup a watchdog unit to first draw up a
service level requirement for all service provider in the entire
country.

For example, calling hotline as above, it should be picked up within 3
rings, or x number of rings, and if the provider breach the service
level, they have to pay the fine.

For example, traffic lights, if the traffic light out of order for more
than 4 hours continuously in weekday or 8 hours in weekend, the company
who provide the maintenance will be fined.

For example, internet service provider, for emails services, access
services and etc.

And many many other example. Maybe reader can provide some comment.

It is so difficult to change the attitute of "tak apa apa", so, why not
have it in the regulation to force it to work, maybe Malaysia will
become another "fine" country like Singapore, but I will rather have it
that way.

Have a nice weekend.
